Gwen Jamieson (She/Her) Lead Therapist
BA, BSW, MSW, RSW
With over 25 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with people in a variety of settings including as an Adult Mental Health Therapist at Community Mental Health in Collingwood and as a Child and Adolescent Mental Health worker at the Georgian Bay Family Health Team. Prior to moving to Collingwood, I worked as a Crisis/Emergency Social Worker and Hospital Social Worker at various hospitals in Hamilton
My foray into social work was community based and allowed me to work with LGBTQIA+ communities, Special Ability populations, Women with substance use concerns, pregnant and parenting teens, homeless populations and newcomer and refugee populations.
I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside people from many lived experiences. It is an honour to participate in their journeys, often through their hardest and most vulnerable moments.
Treatment Areas of Focus: Parenting Challenges, Life Transitions, Boundaries, Attachment Work, Anxiety, Navigating Relationship Issues.
